is a lovely popular song that is currently making the rounds on Chicago’s top 40 stations.  It is a happy and boppy song about a gal describing her relationship with her significant other.  For some odd reason , the song reminds me of my boys.  When they are on — THEY ARE ON !!  When they are off — THEY ARE SO OFF !!! 

Watching tonight’s game was very painful yet again as the COLD WHITE SOX TEAM showed up today.   The boys had a prime opportunity to put runs on the board early as Kazmir wasn’t able to hit the strike zone too well.  The boys needed to do this badly and couldn’t capitalize.  THEN Kazmir caught his groove and we just couldn’t manufacture runs. When Kazmir left and the bullpen took over, AGAIN we couldn’t get several men to cross the plate.    I believe we had 12 hits and only 2 scored.  That is not cold, that is absolutely FREEZING.

The boys come home and Sunday will hopefully be exciting as a blackout will attempted again.  The blackout from the other day looked amazing and hopefully will be just as electrifying on Sunday.  Hopefully the weather will be nice and all the body heat from the people in the stadium will HEAT things up.

I watched tonight’s game in my Authentic Majestic Swisher jersey and that didn’t do it. The majority of the student’s at the school that I teach for wore Sox gear and that didn’t help.  I also found a dime (heads up) and made the same wish 10 times.  NO LUCK !!!  I ate dinner at a nice restaurant on the north side that had the game on.  It was a fun environment with many patrons cheering on the Sox,  but still no dice !!!  I know I might sound a little COOL here, but I guess it will all be okay.  The boys weren’t even expected to be here and these few games have been bonus games !!! However, as selfish as this seems, I am not ready to muck my holding cards just yet.   PLEASE SOX , heat things up !!!
