I think the last two games have sort of revived this team.  The Tuesday night game had alot of fight in it.  The Sox refused to back down.  When the going got tough,  the tough got going. They didn’t let the Polanco homerun sour them.  They didn’t let Floyd’s pretty bad start irk their nerves.  Kudos to Swisheroo for the missle out to left for the win of the game. To me that was so clutch. He needed THAT big TIME !!   The crowd that was still in attendance looked to be going crazy wild.  Yesterday’s game was breezy.  Thome’s 3 run bomb sent an early message to the Tigers.  From then on, Danks looked to be on cruise control.  He knew he had the lead and could relax from there.  Congrats to Konerko for his 1500 hit . It must have been extra sweet to be off of Verlander too.  The bullpen over the past two days has shown signs of improvement.  Carrasco and Dotel have done great. It was good to see Wasserman not all over the place.  I think once Linebrink comes back, the bullpen will hopefully go back to their AWESOME status like in the beginning of the season.  Joey Cora did an excellent job filling in for the absent Ozzie.  I think he may have it in him to be a good manager.  He seemed to be relaxed , made some good decisions , and took to the press and cameras well for post game wrap up.  It would be nice to sweep the Tigers here tonight.   Javy is on the mound and he definitely has the stuff to make that a reality !!!   

 I am going to Vegas for a few days with the fiancee’ – Should I place a bet in the Sportsbook for this team to make it to the World Series ?? Well I will check out the odds and make a decision then.  I will miss being glued to the computer or the t.v. to check out my boys but wading in the pool, shopping, and ALOT of POKER awaits !!   It won’t be too much of a downer when I get back home as I will be hitting up a game vs. the Royals at the Cell right when I get back !! wooo hooo !!!
